LAUREL CANYON

ABOUT

For Lucy Hale’s 1940s Spanish-style home tucked into a Los Angeles canyon, we set out to create an interior that felt distinctly hers—romantic and feminine, but with an unexpected edge. We reintroduced architectural character through wood beams, arched openings, hand-painted tile, stained glass, and sculpted plaster, then layered the rooms with rich color, expressive materials, vintage pieces, and contemporary forms.

A palette of aubergine, dusty pink, terracotta, and soft green runs throughout, balanced by warm woods, aged metals, and natural stone. Custom furnishings sit alongside collected pieces and art with a sense of humor, giving the house a feeling that developed over time rather than all at once. The result is an intimate, spirited home that reflects Lucy’s evolution while leaving room for what comes next.
